Maxim’s Hot 100 annual list is out and this year’s number one spot goes to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
The Victoria’s Secret model, star of the upcoming Transformers 3 movie and girlfriend to Jason Strathram, the 24 year-old tops the other super hot women for 2011 according to the magazine.
Huntington-Whiteley told the magazine “It’s a great title to have for a year and you can have some fun with it, I think.”
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been hailed the world's hottest woman of the year. It was announced on Tuesday, May 3 that the Victoria's Secret model topped Maxim's annual Hot 100 list. She beat out the likes of Megan Fox, Katy Perry, Mila Kunis, Natalie Portman as well as the new Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.
Of the 24-year-old beauty's selection, Maxim editor in chief Joe Levy said, "Rosie is a true transformer - a Victoria's Secret stunner who is about to go supernova when she takes over for Megan Fox in the 'Transformers' franchise - her talent is as undeniable as her beauty, which is pretty jaw-droppingly undeniable."
Rosie, who is featured wearing nothing underneath her black leather jacket, herself told the magazine that claiming the title is "a huge honor." The actress playing Carly in the upcoming "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" added, "It's a great title to have for a year and you can have some fun with it, I think."
Taking the second slot on the list was "Perfect Couples" actress Olivia Munn. The 30-year-old was followed by last year's hottest celeb Katy on the third place, "Bad Teacher" star Cameron Diaz on fourth, and "Black Swan" beauty Mila on fifth. Mila's co-star Natalie Portman landed on #8, while Megan, the actress Rosie is replacing in the "Transformers" series, came in at #17.
Also making it into the list was the new Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton. The wife of Prince William was listed at #26. She came in behind country beauty Taylor Swift (#20) and ahead of "Gossip Girl" actress Michelle Trachtenberg (#27), "Glee" star Lea Michele (#28) and "Modern Family" actress Sofia Vergara (#29).
